Thank you so much for your feedback
I realise the surgery is busy but often if I need a short notice appointment usually for my kids, they tell me to ring back the next day at 8.30am or come to the surgery at 8am. This isn't always feasible when its during school run times and also I work.
I'm not sure what the work around could be but it does become frustrating at times, especially when I don't ring unless I have to!
Thank you for your feedback. The reason you are asked to call back/come in the following morning is that we release a lot of 'on the day' appointments at 8am and 8.30am. We hoped that 8am would be before the school run, but I appreciate it's a very hectic time of day! However the appointments are released online at the same time as they are released to our reception team, so you may benefit from setting up online access and booking via your PC/smartphone. You can even download and app to make it easier to book/cancel appointments on the move. Please see our website or reception staff for more information.
A receptionist wasn't at all helpful when the weighing machine broke and a cut my arm on the sleeve. It was bleeding ,about a 1.5" deep graze. She kept me waiting ages for a plaster and then brought a small round blood test one which was useless. She didn't bother to look at my arm or to care that the machine had a sharp piece inside the sleeve. Please keep suitable plasters and make sure receptionists know where they are and that they are more caring in their attitude.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm very concerned to hear you cur your arm on the machine. I shall speak to our reception manager and ensure it has now been repaired so that other patients aren't affected. I'm also very sorry the receptionist you spoke to wasn't more helpful. I will arrange for more training for our front of house staff on responding to minor accidents & injuries. Should you wish to contact me further to discuss, please leave your name with reception and I'll call you back, Katie Mitchell (Practice Manager).
Great staff, very patient and have always rung back with the correct responses.Highly Recommended
